Search for your desired ticker symbol on TradingView. At the top of the screen you can click on "Indicators" and add any of your desired indicators to the chart. Once you have added your indicators click "Alert" at the top of the page to create a new alert. Set your conditions and copy and paste one of the following JSON packages into the message box. On TradersPost, click "Strategies" from the task panel located on the left. In the top right corner click "New Strategy". Name your strategy, select your asset type, select "TradingView" under the security section, and then click "Save" in the bottom left corner. Don't have TradersPost yet? In TradersPost, click "Strategies" on the left. Click the name of your strategy or select "Edit". In the top right corner, click "Webhook". Click "Copy" next to the URL shown at the top of the page and navigate back to TradingView. You should see your alerts on the right, but if not click the symbol that looks like an alarm clock. Right click your alert and select "Edit". At the bottom click the arrow next to "Notifications" and select "Webhook URL". Paste the URL you copied from your TradersPost strategy, select "Apply", and then click "Save".
In TradersPost, click "Strategies" on the left. Click the name of your strategy or select "Edit". In the top right corner, click "Webhook". Click "Copy" next to the URL shown at the top of the page and navigate back to TradingView. You should see your alerts on the right, but if not click the symbol that looks like an alarm clock. Paste the URL you copied from your TradersPost strategy, select "Apply", and then click "Save".

Navigate to your TradersPost account and select "Dashboard" from the panel on the left. In the top right corner click "Add Broker". Select your broker from the list and it will direct you to your brokers website. (NOTE- If you are already logged in on another tab it won't ask you to sign in). Check the boxes and agree to the terms and it will take you back to TradersPost. Your new connected accounts will be disabled by default. Simply click the light red button that says "Disabled" and you're good to go.

Select your broker from the list and it will direct you to your brokers website. (NOTE- If you are already logged in on another tab it won't ask you to sign in). On TradersPost select "Subscriptions" from the panel on the left. In the top right corner, click "New Subscription", select a strategy, and then select an account. ALWAYS TEST YOUR STRATEGY WITH A PAPER TRADING ACCOUNT FIRST!!! Set up your entry and exit conditions and you're all set. Just click "Save" and then "Enable" at the bottom of the screen to start trading. For a comparison of recommended brokerage accounts click the link below.
